Changing your password or email

You can change the password or email address on your eAdventist account at any time. Sign in with your current email and password, then click on "account settings" (under the "Home" menu section). Remember that your password needs to contain:

  • letters (upper or lower case), numbers, symbols or underscores
  • at least one non-letter character
  • from 6 to 20 characters

Locked out?

eAdventist "locks" your account after 3 unsuccessful attempts in 30 minutes - to prevent an attacker from guessing his/her way into your eAdventist account.

You can "unlock" your account in either of 2 ways:

  • Wait an hour and try again - the account is automatically "unlocked" after 60 minutes
  • Use the "Forgot Your Password?" link to reset your password (see below)
TIP: eAdventist does not force you choose a new password. You can choose the same password again to unlock your account without changing passwords.

Resetting your password

If you are unable to remember your password, you can click the "Forgot Your Password?" link on the Login page. eAdventist will email you a Reset link, that you can click on to choose a new password.
